DTI-1245 Batch Curing Oven
Customer directive
The customer requested that we provide a batch type oven with a vertical door to save floor space. The oven process required a horizontal cross-flow air circulation. The air distribution system includes the ability to reverse the airflow direction during the cure cycle. Product is placed in the heated chamber for process on product carts designed specifically for the process. The customer requested handrails around the top perimeter, a rear maintenance platform and handrail, and access doors on the oven for operator safety and ease of maintenance.
Description
The DTI-1245 is a batch oven used for a closed-cell foam cure process. The airflow within the heated chamber is horizontal cross flow and includes the ability to automatically reverse the airflow direction during the cure cycle.
A powered vertical door provides access to the heated chamber. The oven is heated by a modulating natural-gas-fired burner system. The operational cycle is controlled by ramp and soak profile recipes that can be stored for future use.
The oven system includes a cooling cycle with an automatic cooling air intake damper to cool the oven and product at the end of the heating cycle.
The entire system is controlled by PLC. All machine functions are controlled from the operator HMI (touch screen) located beside the chamber door.
The entire system is fully assembled and factory tested for operational verification prior to shipment.
